As of December 2023, in the United States, an estimated 45.9% of job applications and searches were for remote work, yet there is a strong mismatch in supply: only close to 10% of open positions were offered as remote, according to LinkedIn's Global State of Remote and Hybrid Work 2024 report.
A recent report from FlexJobs reveals that out of their database of flexibility-friendly companies, 25 employers are currently offering fully remote roles or have offered them recently, including companies like Splunk, SMX Tech, NBCUniversal, New York Life, and BAE Systems.
