A best friend confided that she was having issues with her husband. The narrator is very close to the couple and has spent a great deal of time with them. They previously lived in the same city, and after the narrator moved both households have stayed with each other frequently. The couple now have a young daughter. The narrator expressed candid negative opinions about the husband to the friend. The friend later told the husband what had been said. The couple have since patched things up, leaving the narrator feeling embarrassed and exposed.

My best friend has confided she is having issues with her husband. We are very close, and so I've spent lots of time with them together. We lived in the same city and after I moved, they have come to stay with me and I've stayed with them lots of times too. Now they have an adorable little girl.
