Briefly

Robert Boyajian, a 75-year-old real estate professional, was found dead in a Mojave Desert cave. Authorities charged 21-year-old Audrik Matevosian with first-degree murder and grand theft after he was initially sought for help in the investigation. Boyajian was reported missing by an employee concerned for his wellbeing. The investigation revealed a $1,000 ATM withdrawal linked to Matevosian, who had previously helped install security systems at Boyajian's home. Matevosian is currently held without bail as the case develops.
Sheriff Tyson Pogue stated that the deputies had initially approached Matevosian for help accessing home security footage, not knowing he would later be a suspect.
The investigation uncovered a $1,000 ATM withdrawal made a day before Robert Boyajian's welfare check, captured on surveillance footage of Matevosian.
