The kidnapped wife and child of Ecuadorian soccer player Jackson Rodríguez were safely rescued by police on Friday after being abducted from their home in Guayaquil. Rodríguez, who evaded capture by hiding, was relieved to hear that his family, kidnapped for ransom when armed men invaded their home, was free and unharmed.
