Python 3.14.0a1 is the first of seven planned alpha releases, aimed at testing new features and bug fixes before the beta phase begins.
During the alpha phase, features may be added until the start of the beta phase on 2025-05-06, with modifications possible until the release candidate phase.
This release is a developer preview, and it is not recommended for production use as many significant changes are still in development.
The next pre-release, Python 3.14.0a2, is scheduled for 2024-11-19, as many new features are still in the planning stages.
