The collision was reported to Sunnyvale DPS around 9:21 a.m., said Captain Dzanh Le. Authorities notified PG&E and were waiting for crews to respond to the gas leak, Le said."
"There was not an estimated time of when the leak would be repaired. The Challenger School, which serves students from preschool to eighth grade on nearby Hollenbeck Avenue, was asked to shelter-in-place while the leak was being repaired, Le added. Students will not be allowed to go outside but the school will otherwise be able to continue with its daily activities. Le did not have information about how many homes were being evacuated."
