Health Secretary Wes Streeting will launch an independent review into rising demand for mental health, ADHD and autism services in England. The review aims to produce an evidence-based clinical understanding to ensure timely access to accurate diagnosis and effective support. The Department of Health and Social Care is providing an additional £688m alongside the review. Clinical psychologist Prof Peter Fonagy will lead the review, with findings due in Summer 2026.
