When I became a mom decades after my friends, I wanted to ignore judging voices and do what felt natural; however, parenting methods are overwhelming.
RIE, or Resources for Infant Education, seemed fated for me, as it embodies a philosophy that often contrasts with natural parental instincts and decisions.
The RIE classes I observed often appeared to involve a lot of inactivity, leading me to question the methods practiced by those parents in charge.
Transitioning into motherhood later in life brought unique challenges and observations, as I grappled with the plethora of parenting philosophies available.
