Italian prosecutors are examining the crew and captain of Mike Lynch's yacht following its tragic sinking off Sicily, which resulted in the deaths of Lynch and six others.
The captain, James Cutfield, is under investigation for manslaughter and shipwreck, but being under investigation does not equate to guilt or imply that formal charges will be made.
Cutfield's legal team stated that he declined to answer questions due to distress and the need for more information to prepare a defense.
Autopsies on the victims of the yacht sinking are set to be carried out at a forensic medicine institute in Palermo as part of the ongoing investigation.
