In total, 1,274,086 documents were exposed to the internet via a misconfigured database for an unknown length of time. Among the data were 99,151 snapshots of guards checking in for their shifts.
The exposed ID cards, issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA), lack biometric technology, potentially making them vulnerable to misuse. Plans are in place to introduce biometry in the future.
