After a federal court ruling, DG Institute was fined $6 million and ordered to pay $14.7 million in redress to over 1,200 participants due to misleading representations.
The serious nature of DG Institute's conduct and the substantial penalties showcase the consequences of making false claims in consumer promotions, stated ACCC commissioner Liza Carver.
