Parents forced from small boat plead to join children taken to UK without them
Briefly

After we were separated, the parents were taken to Calais police station, where they were advised to pray for their young children, as the journey would be difficult.
My eldest son's last words to me were: Please Mum, please don't die, please don't drown. There is nothing worse than being separated from your children.
The children believed their parents had drowned until the family spoke on a video call two weeks later, leaving the children traumatized and withdrawn.
My youngest is having nightmares and wetting and soiling himself throughout the day and at night. We're really worried about the long-term impact this will have on both of them.
