Lowe's has begun altering its diversity, equity, and inclusion policies following the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling on affirmative action, combining its resource groups into one organization.
The company will no longer participate in the Human Rights Campaign's annual survey regarding LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion and will cease sponsoring outside events such as parades.
Lowe's stated the changes were made to align its policies with legal compliance and its commitment to include everyone, assuring its dedication to employees remains unchanged.
Despite claims from conservative commentator Robby Starbuck about influencing Lowe's changes, the company clarified that these alterations were already in progress prior to his outreach.
