LensCrafters is giving customers one-time payments from $39 million settlement
Briefly

LensCrafters has agreed to a $39 million settlement in a class action lawsuit for alleged deceptive advertising regarding the accuracy of its AccuFit Digital System. The lawsuit claimed LensCrafters misrepresented the system's precision, claiming accuracy "down to a tenth of a millimeter"—which consumers argued the company did not deliver in its glasses production process.
Despite denying the accusations, LensCrafters chose to settle the case to avoid prolonged litigation. Eligible consumers can file claims within 30 days after the court issues a final approval order for the settlement.
