Kadeena Cox's journey to the Paralympics has been challenging, battling significant injuries, yet she remains focused on maintaining her title and pursuing new records.
Despite her struggles, Cox's determination shines through: 'It's been a hard journey...I still feel...I've got the capabilities to be able to [win a] medal.'
Having shifted from a hockey player to track sprinter and finally para-cycling, her resilience is evident, especially after overcoming a stroke and multiple sclerosis.
Cox highlights the difference between training and competition: 'Competing is the easy bit. When you get to a competition...you've done the work and the hard bit's been done.'
