Fota Wildlife cyberattack: customers urged to cancel cards used to make payments on site

The Cork-based organization urged customers to cancel any credit or debit cards used at their website between May 12 and August 27, warning of compromised financial information.
Customers are advised to monitor their bank accounts for suspicious activity and change passwords for other accounts if the same password was used.
Fota Wildlife Park stated that the incident has been reported to the Data Protection Commission and that they are cooperating with An Garda Síochána.
The park has activated its incident response plan and is conducting an internal investigation to determine the nature of the cyberattack.
