Apparel manufacturer Fanatics has refiled its lawsuit against Arizona Cardinals rookie receiver Marvin Harrison Jr, adding his father, former NFL star Marvin Harrison Sr, and fraud allegations in addition to breach of contract.
The amended lawsuit details that affidavits from both Harrisons indicate it was Harrison Sr who signed the contract with Fanatics, leading to a misunderstanding regarding Harrison Jr's role.
Fanatics' claims suggest that Harrison Sr intentionally misrepresented the situation, leading them to believe Harrison Jr was the actual signatory on the contract.
The original agreement was reportedly worth at least $1 million, covering autographs, signed trading cards, and other promotional activities involving the young NFL star.
