The government retracted thousands of records related to Jeffrey Epstein after inadequate redactions exposed personally identifiable information for approximately 100 victims. Leaked PII included nude photos, names, email addresses, and banking information that led at least one person to receive death threats and another to call the exposure life threatening. Additional leaked material revealed Epstein's full credit card number, expiration date, and security code, along with a jail worker's complete Social Security number and birth date.
