This can pretty much summarize where the game currently is in terms of balance. Players are dealing damage numbers that are unfathomable, and yet this major update aims to reduce the size of those numbers. It's a hilarious irony that while Blizzard plans to tone down the excesses of the game, someone has already reached the limits in spectacular fashion.
Rob2628’s achievement demonstrates the extremes of damage output in Diablo 4. By stacking Thorns and leveraging new skills and items, he broke the game’s damage display, representing both a push for balance and the ongoing wildness of damage potential in the current patch.
