Cyberattack on Fota Wildlife Park exposed credit cards and passwords

Fota Wildlife Park has warned customers that it was affected by a cyberattack that could have granted hackers access to credit card information, email addresses, user names and passwords.
The park authorities are also telling customers that they must now start keeping a close eye for 'suspicious or unusual activity' on their bank accounts.
If you carried out a transaction on our website between the dates of 12 May 2024 and 27 August 2024, there is a risk that your financial information may be compromised.
The incident has been notified to the Data Protection Commission and that it is 'liaising and working with An Garda Siochána'.
