Roger Bryant, 73, was sentenced to six and a half years for swindling the National Trust out of over £1 million through false invoices, while his sons were complicit.
Judge Burgess KC described Roger Bryant's behaviour as 'audacious and protracted', highlighting the severity of his abuse of position which facilitated the fraud.
Bryant's sons, James and Scott, were also found guilty for their roles in the crime, with James receiving a four-year sentence and Scott a suspended two-year sentence.
