British Airways has implemented schedule adjustments due to Air Traffic Control restrictions at Heathrow caused by Storm Lilian's anticipated adverse weather impacting flights.
A Met Office yellow warning for winds above 75mph has been issued, affecting travel plans across northern England, southern Scotland, and Wales until 11am on Friday.
Heavy rainfall, with around 30mm recorded in North Wales, has also contributed to flight cancellations and delays, leading British Airways to adjust their services accordingly.
As Storm Lilian marks the twelfth named storm this season, British Airways is apologizing for the disruptions, assuring efforts are being made to minimize inconvenience for travelers.
