32M records from golf tech biz exposed online
Briefly

Trackman, a tech company widely used in golf, exposed nearly 32 million records in an unsecured database, risking user data and personal security.
Jeremiah Fowler discovered 31,602,260 records in a non-password protected Azure Blob database, including names, email addresses, and sensitive device information.
Fowler criticized Trackman for their lack of transparency following the breach, stating, 'It appears they never notified device owners/users or made the notification public that there was a data exposure.'
Despite quickly sealing the database after being notified, Trackman has not responded to inquiries regarding the breach or time frame of exposure.
