Restaurant chain rivaling Hooters closes its only Calif. location
Briefly

The Twin Peaks restaurant in Sacramento, California, has announced its permanent closure after nearly 10 years of operation. Through an Instagram post, the chain expressed gratitude for its customers' support. Many patrons were surprised by the suddenness of the closure and lamented the lack of a farewell service. Twin Peaks, similar to Hooters, features a sports bar atmosphere with an all-women waitstaff, alongside a standard menu of pub staples. While the Sacramento location has closed, the chain still has over 100 establishments across 26 states. The closure joins a series of recent food business shut-downs in the area.
"It's with a heavy heart that we must share that Twin Peaks Sacramento is now permanently closed. Thank you and be well."
"The closure has left many customers taken aback, questioning why there was no final service announcement, calling it 'the end of an era.'"}],
