Invited to join Forest Grove High School's mariachi program, he excelled, performing at national shows. Now a college student, Garcia participates in a major Texas mariachi band. His return to Oregon for an anniversary concert aims to celebrate mariachi's rich cultural significance and its evolution, emphasizing the music's role in educating new generations about their heritage.
