Trimet cops are assholes
Briefly

The fare inspectors' actions, demanding proof of fare from passengers who already showed it to the driver, feel excessive and unnecessary, wasting both time and resources.
With the cost of pay for fare inspectors at around $20 an hour, enforcing fare tampering seems decidedly inefficient compared to investing the money into better services like bus shelters.
This incident highlights a critical failure in management priorities; instead of focusing on enhancing the customer experience, resources are misallocated, making the public transit system less enjoyable.
As a frequent user of public transport, I feel disillusioned by how service workers are positioned to scrutinize instead of improve the onboard experience for paying customers.
