The upcoming art exhibit, "Charles Swank: A Retrospective, 50 Years Exploring Inner Worlds," in Yachats Commons invites the community to explore the abstract and geometric artwork of reclusive artist Charles Swank. Hosted by Dan Stein and sponsored by Polly Plumb Productions, the free show runs from February 15-16, featuring five decades of Swank's creations. Attendees can interact by choosing to take home a small piece of the art, including cards or cuttable sections from larger paintings. This exhibit rejuvenates the local art calendar, previously occupied by an art quilt show.
"This exhibition is a unique chance for the public to engage with not only Charles Swank's visual art but also to leave with a piece of it."
"With over 200 paintings to choose from, attendees can cut a square foot from large pieces or select smaller items, making the experience interactive."
