Meteorologists have advised the Portland metro area to prepare for a potent fall storm that is gaining strength in the Pacific Ocean, bringing severe wind, rain, and snowy conditions across Oregon and Washington on November 19.
As the storm approaches, rain will escalate later in the afternoon, with an increase in wind speeds anticipated as it draws closer to the shoreline, according to KOIN 6 meteorologists Kelly Bayern and Josh Cozart.
