The company is rolling out a Spotify integration that will allow podcasters on Substack to sync and distribute all of their free and paid episodes to Spotify. The new features aim to help podcasters reach more listeners and potentially earn more by nudging free listeners to upgrade to a subscription.
Podcasters on Substack have collectively earned more than $100 million in annual revenue, with the number doubling in the past year. The platform's active podcasters have also more than doubled in the same period.
