The upcoming Season 2 of Taylor Sheridan's series '1923' delves deeper into the Dutton family's beginnings in Montana amidst significant historical events. With a notable cast including Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, expectations are high as new challenges arise. Actress Michelle Randolph discusses her character, Elizabeth Strafford, emphasizing her resilience and the struggle between tradition and modernity. The season promises to present more obstacles for all characters, showcasing their personal growth amidst the tumultuous backdrop of the 1920s.
Somehow stakes get higher in the second season. You just don't think it's possible after the first...but it does.
I just loved the role of Elizabeth, and as soon as I read it, I felt like I could find her voice.
I love how resilient she is, I love the strength. I love this duality between wanting to be this woman in the 1920s who's pushing boundaries.
I think that we all have obstacles this season-more so than last season, and they're coming to a head.
