"Maggie changed us in so many ways, the statement said. She was everything to us. She gave us meaning and purpose every day, and we feel empty."
"As parents and a family, we have been robbed of a beautiful lifetime and memories with her. Our lives will never be the same again, she will always be in our hearts."
Maggie-May Ann Moody, a three-month-old girl, died on 9 April in Dormanstown after being bitten by a dog. Armed police shot one dog at the scene, and another was later euthanized. Her family expressed profound grief, stating that Maggie brought them meaning and purpose every day. They lamented being robbed of a lifetime of memories with her. The family was present at the hospital, and her siblings adored her. Two men and a woman were arrested in connection with the incident but have been released on conditional bail.
