Mark Longo, owner of the late P'Nut, recently adopted a miniature dachshund named Howard, whom he feels resembles his beloved squirrel. After a period of grief following P'Nut's tragic death caused by a controversial raid by state agents, Longo hesitated before deciding to adopt. Howard's playful nature and companionship have begun to fill the emotional void left by P'Nut, who had become a national figure after his death symbolized government overreach. Howard is helping Longo heal and will feature prominently on his social media.

Howard... literally brought a little bit of a spark back into my life... and put a smile on my face.
