Authorities in Fremont reported the discovery of two mutilated animals at the Centerville Train Station on Sunday. The authorities were alerted by Amtrak police after they found one animal decapitated and eviscerated on a park bench. Additional bags found nearby contained another decapitated animal and what appeared to be animal intestines. To identify the species and cause of death, a forensic veterinarian has been enlisted. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward and provide tips, and updates will follow as the investigation continues.
