""I knew if I came back to France, I could have an impact.""
""It's a reward. People are happy to have such an environment, and one they can count on every day.""
Emmanuel Bushiazzo's journey from coral research to coffee entrepreneurship began in 2012 when he discovered a book about opening a coffee shop. Intrigued by the complexities of coffee, he recognized a gap in the specialty coffee scene in his hometown of Nice, France. After training at La Caféothèque in Paris, he launched pop-up events and established La Claque Café Nomade in 2017. In 2023, he opened a permanent café in Nice featuring a rotating menu of French roasters, providing a much-needed community space for coffee lovers.
