The 'Theatre of Life' pavilion, designed by French studio Coldefy and Italian firm CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati for Expo Osaka 2025, aims to bridge human and non-human worlds. Spanning 3,600 square meters, it features a series of transparent acrylic rods, high fabric curtains, and pathways divided into three thematic acts. Highlighting France's cultural and natural contributions, visitors explore various ecosystems and engage with a circular design approach that emphasizes sustainability and resilience in light of the climate crisis.
The design adopts a circular architectural approach, blending prefabricated pieces with natural elements, reiterating a virtuous loop of reuse and recycling.
Theatre of Life invites exploration of France's ecosystems, encouraging visitors to rediscover a connection to nature amidst changing environmental contexts.
