ATM, Transdev and RATP officially awarded three bus lots in Paris region - Sustainable Bus

On April 10, 2025, three bus lots in Paris were awarded, notably including Italian ATM among the winners. Transdev and RATP Cap Île-de-France were designated for the remaining two. The contracts, starting from May 1, 2026, span five years (or six for Transdev) and entail the management of extensive bus routes, including initiatives for hydrogen-powered buses. In particular, RATP will run 19 lines in the Massy-Juvisy area, including a new connection to Orly airport, marking a significant development in Paris's public transport landscape.
The recent awarding of three bus lots in Paris saw Italian company ATM unexpectedly win one lot, while Transdev and RATP Cap Île-de-France secured the others.
With the contracts effective from 1 May 2026, each operator will oversee numerous bus routes for up to six years, reflecting significant investments in operational centres.
RATP Cap Île-de-France will manage 19 lines including a new route connecting Longjumeau and Orly airport, emphasizing the region's public transport expansion.
Transdev will also issue a hydrogen-powered fleet as part of its expanded responsibilities, highlighting the push towards sustainable transport solutions in Paris.
