US moms don't get enough self care, research says - here's why
Briefly

A recent survey conducted by Talker Research for Woodhouse Spas reveals that a third of Americans feel their mothers do not prioritize self-care, with 70% expressing concern about the overwhelming responsibilities mothers face. Despite a close relationship, where many individuals feel they understand their mom better than anyone else, respondents indicate they show appreciation seldomly, averaging less than twice a month. Furthermore, 90% concur that self-care should be a priority for mothers, highlighting the need for more attention towards their wellness while acknowledging the importance of familial bonds.
"The study shows that the moms in our lives need some self-care," said Ben Jones, chief executive officer of Radiance Holdings, the parent company of Woodhouse Spas.
Knowing how much the moms in their life do, 67% of the respondents agree that their mom spends too much time worrying about everyone else.
