Octomom Nadya Suleman's kids speak out for the first time: 'She had to sacrifice so much'
Briefly

Nadya Suleman's children, especially her eight youngest octuplets, are publicly defending their mother for the first time ahead of the March premieres of the Lifetime movie and docuseries titled 'I Was Octomom' and 'Confessions of Octomom.' While the older children wish to remain silent, the younger ones feel it's time to share their narrative. Daughter Nariyah expressed excitement for their mother to present her side of the story, critiqued the unfair treatment Suleman received for her choices, and emphasized how much she sacrificed for her family. The project coincides with the octuplets' upcoming sixteenth birthday.
I'm just very excited. Our mom would finally be able to say her side of the story, because I feel like it was very unfair how she was terrorized and hated for just being a mother.
I've been saying, I want to keep them safe and protect my kids, and well, they're older now. They're turning 16 and making the decision to really do this.
In 2009, Suleman found unusual fame when she was implanted with 12 embryos... She gave birth to the first surviving octuplets, which coined her with the worldwide nickname Octomom.
However, Suleman's IVF choice was heavily criticized after it became known that she had struggled to take care of the six children she already had before welcoming her octuplets.
