You'll Soon Be Able To Buy Used Cars On Amazon
Briefly

Amazon is venturing into the used car market after a successful launch of new car sales online. The company aims to create a seamless e-commerce experience for used car purchases, facilitating a transparent process for customers. By partnering with dealers, Amazon Autos plans to list both new and used inventory, enhancing the buying journey. Users may start online, visit dealerships for test drives, and complete purchases online, with potential additional offerings like warranties and service contracts to enrich the customer experience.
"We're adding more dealers, and we're excited to add not just new inventory for those dealers, but also used inventory," said Fan Jin, director of Amazon Autos.
"We see ourselves as providing this channel for dealers for a fully e-commerce transaction," Jin said when discussing their entry into the used car market.
"They may start online, then go to the dealer to look and have a test drive, then come back, think about it, and then finish the purchase online," stated Jin.
"We want to surface the right options to help customers in their journey to buy a used vehicle," he added.
