Vaccines Significantly Reduce the Risk of Long Covid, Study Finds
Briefly

A study in the US showed vaccinated individuals had lower risk of developing long Covid than unvaccinated. Vaccines don't eliminate the risk entirely, but decrease severity.
Residual risk of long Covid remains among vaccinated individuals. Even mild infections can lead to long Covid. New cases may still occur.
The study analyzed millions of patients in the Department of Veterans Affairs system. It included 450,000 with Covid and 4.7 million without infections.
