Urban Farming Home / Farming Architects
Briefly

The Urban Farming Home seeks to create a comfortable living environment while addressing the negative consequences of urbanization, like pollution, limited space, and lack of greenery.
This project employs three primary architectural strategies: functional slices for ecological connections, diverse spatial levels for ecosystem enhancement, and a dynamic building approach approached through urban agriculture.
Incorporating various urban agricultural techniques such as aquaponics, the design supports a diverse ecosystem thriving with over 300 species of plants and animals.
The design of the home aligns with the city’s specific climatic needs, showcasing a flexible framework that reflects the family’s requirements while promoting sustainable urban living.
