T.Rex was NOT as intelligent as a monkey, scientists argue
Briefly

Researchers debunk the claim that T.Rex had 'baboon-like' cognitive abilities, comparing its intelligence to reptiles like crocodiles and lizards.
'The possibility that T. rex might have been as intelligent as a baboon is fascinating and terrifying... all the data we have is against this idea,' says University of Southampton palaeontologist Dr Darren Naish.
Dr. Suzana Herculano-Houzel's study estimating T. rex had 3.2 billion neurons, more than baboons, concluded neuron counts didn't equate to intelligence.
Neuron counts correlate with brain size, and T. Rex's large brain cavity suggests more neurons, though intelligence comparison to primates remains unfounded.
