This year's Geminid meteor shower peaks between late Friday and early Saturday, but visibility will be significantly impacted by the brightness of the full moon.

NASA estimates that this year's visibility could drop to about 15 meteors per hour due to the Cold Moon, which is predicted to cut visibility by 50% to 75%.
