Pilots survive horror light aircraft crash as glider nosedives onto Cotswolds road

In a shocking incident, a light aircraft nosedived onto a busy road in the Cotswolds after losing a wing. Witnesses described the chaos of the crash on the A419.
The crash occurred just metres from the Aston Down Airfield landing strip, leading to immediate emergency services response. Both occupants appeared to suffer no serious injuries.
Witness Tony Breakspear-Jones reported seeing the glider stall before crashing, causing significant traffic disruptions while his nurse stepdaughter remained to assist the injured.
Gloucestershire Constabulary announced road closures were implemented while emergency personnel managed the scene, confirming no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
