NASA tracking 'city killer' asteroid set to skim past Earth TOMORROW
Briefly

NASA is monitoring asteroid 2025 BS4, which is set to pass Earth safely at a speed of 35,000 miles per hour, coming within 511,000 miles. Although this distance is twice that of the average distance to the Moon, the asteroid qualifies as a Near Earth Object (NEO). If it were to collide with Earth, the impact would have the destructive power of 19,000 tons of TNT. NASA tracks over 37,000 NEOs to ensure no imminent threats emerge from the sky, as these objects can come suddenly and potentially endanger Earth.
Asteroids can come at any moment towards Earth. Having eyes on the sky everywhere in the world allows us to track them.
The force of its impact would be equivalent to 19,000 tons of TNT - powerful enough to do catastrophic damage if it landed on a large city.
