NASA Launches New Space Telescope and Suite of Solar Satellites
Briefly

NASA launched two significant missions, SPHEREx and PUNCH, from California, overcoming prior delays. SPHEREx is a space telescope set to capture images of the entire sky in over 100 invisible colors, which could unveil cosmic mysteries. In contrast, PUNCH consists of four satellites focused on studying the sun's outer atmosphere and solar wind. The missions were launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, and despite weather challenges causing earlier postponements, the successful liftoff ensures the spacecraft are now positioned in a sun-synchronous orbit for optimal observation.
Both missions, SPHEREx and PUNCH, aim to explore cosmic mysteries by observing the sky in different spectrums and studying the sun's atmosphere and solar winds.
SPHEREx will take images in over a hundred colors invisible to the human eye, while PUNCH focuses on understanding the sun's outer atmosphere and solar wind.
