Alicia Silverstone shocked fans by posting a TikTok video of herself eating a poisonous berry, which is a Jerusalem Cherry, warning of its dangers.
Doctors have warned that all parts of the Jerusalem Cherry plant are toxic, with unripe fruits causing severe symptoms like fever, vomiting, and stomach pain.
After biting into the fruit, Silverstone sought help on TikTok, explaining, 'I don't think you are supposed to eat this. But it is almost like a pepper.'
Fans rushed to alert Silverstone, saying things like, 'OMG NO!! Jerusalem Cherry very poisonous in the Nightshade family. Hope you are ok.'
