Experts create robot with a face made out of living skin tissue
Briefly

The experts from the University of Tokyo have created a robotic face out of lab-grown human skin, aiming for increasingly lifelike appearance and self-healing capabilities.
The engineered skin tissue replicates human skin's surface material and structure by growing human skin cells in the lab, similar to cultured meat development.
The tricky part was ensuring the skin made from human skin cells could attach to the robotic face made of acrylic-based resin; collagen gel was used for adhesion.
