Exercise bouts could improve efficacy of cancer drug
Briefly

A bout of exercise increased the number of anti-cancer immune cells (natural killer cells), around twice as effective at killing cancer cells. Cancer cells transiently increased post-exercise, making them susceptible to attack by natural killer cells.
Research funded by Cancer Research UK shows promise for antibody therapy treatment in cancer. Exercise's impact on Rituximab therapy for chronic lymphocytic leukaemia suggests broader applications in cancer treatment.
