Catch the Perseid meteor shower at its peak late tonight into tomorrow

Late Sunday night into pre-dawn Monday is the best time to see the Perseids. No special equipment needed - meteors should be plentiful, visible to the naked eye.

At its peak, the Perseids can bring as many as 100 meteors per hour. Known for fireballs, larger explosions of light originating from cometary material.
